Accessibility

We are committed and have paid careful attention to making Lougheed Town Centre accessible to everyone.

All Mall entrances are equipped with automatic openings and closures.

Escalators and elevators ensure easy access to all levels of the Centre.

Specially designated Handicapped and Parent parking spaces are located near Mall entrances.

Wheelchairs and walkers are available for loan at our Customer Service Desk and are equipped with mesh carry bags to help organize your purchases while shopping at Lougheed.

The Customer Service Centre is located on the mall's lower level - beneath Entrance #2.

PARKING regulations

Enforcement of parking regulations at Lougheed Town Centre is necessary to ensure that all of our customers are able to conveniently park.  In addition, local laws require property owners to ensure that fire lanes are unobstructed and Handicap parking is being used only by permit holders.

If enforcement is not performed on a regular basis, the shopping centre parking areas are quickly filled up with non-customer vehicles.  Control measures are needed as Skytrain commuters, nearby residential tower visitors, persons attending sporting/concert events and students take advantage.

Wal-Mart, The Bay and Safeway parking areas are included in the enforcement program.  Notice of parking rules are clearly posted throughout all parking lots.

Reasons for Violation Notices Being Issued

Persons that park their vehicles and are observed leaving the property by mall personnel or by surveillance cameras will receive a warning notice. If multiple warnings are received for the same vehicle, the vehicle will be towed and the owner will be responsible for all related charges.

Vehicles that are parked for longer than 4-hours or overnight may be issued a warning notice.  Repeat warnings that are ignored will result in towing of the vehicle.

Park and Ride

A paid park and ride parking area is managed by Impark just North of the bus loop (East of the Skytrain station).  For more information please see their web site at www.impark.com and look for Lot #1890.

Trucks and RVs

Large trucks and recreational vehicles are not permitted to park overnight.  Permission will not be granted under any circumstances due to insurance and local regulations.

Towing

If your vehicle has been towed, Mundies’s Towing and Recovery Service can be called at (604) 526-9677 to arrange for release.

Disputing a Notice

Notices may be disputed by contacting the Security Manager during business hours. Please include your ticket number, license plate and date of the violation.
