Community Partners
Lougheed Town Centre has an ongoing partnership with the Burnaby Firefighters Charitable Society, and as such, fundraising efforts in the centre are devoted to the Society. All proceeds from our Kiddy Cab stroller rentals are donated to the Charitable Society, and since March 2002, through the generosity of our customers, we have raised over $77,000. Other fundraising events are the Halloween Trick-or-Treat and Photos with Santa at Christmas. In return, the Burnaby Firefighters are a notable presence at all Lougheed children’s events, helping to ensure a secure environment for our kids.
